Laurie Douglas is Senior Vice President, Chief Information Officer and Chief Digital Officer at Publix Super Markets. She joined the grocery retailer in 2006 and is based in Lakeland, Florida. In her role, Laurie is responsible for leading Publix’s enterprise technology and omnichannel business. She sets the direction for creating technology solutions that enable convenient experiences, drive productivity, and ultimately increase shareholder value. Laurie establishes the strategy to continually advance Publix’s technology to optimize mission-critical areas of the business such as store and pharmacy operations, merchandising, supply chain, and omnichannel. She leads her team in offering simple and seamless customer experiences, online and in more than 1320 retail locations. She and her team also focus to simplify the work experience for associates with mobile tools. Since joining the Publix family, Laurie has been committed to building a highly effective and scalable technology team that has a passion for excellence and is committed to the company’s overall success.
